Emerging Student Artist - Finch H

Finch is a Year 13 student at Columba College

My work is inspired by science and nature with a particular fascination for paraves (birds and their close relatives) as well as museology and the collection of their specimens. Experimenting with watercolours this year has enhanced my use of digital painting. I have given consideration to the works of Raymond Ching, John Brosio and Joanna Braithwaite. My subject matter is composed in a way which references the genre of surrealism.
